My anonymous mount has transported me across the dry, arid region; it was pleasant to be free from precipitation.

Captain Obvious has taken up horseback riding in the desert - apparently it doesn't rain there.

Before Lieutenant John Dunbar danced with wolves, he rode through the desert on his horse made of smoke, thinking of ways to get rid of all the sad clouds.

Oh, I've been through the desert on a horse with no name. Felt good to get out of the rain.

Yes, that was perfect. Thank you, America.

There's a lot of interesting stuff going on here for those of you that like to analyze these things. First, the rider is always going from left to right. Second, the desert is being heated by an angry sun in the upper right, and is occupied by a single cactus.

Lemonz is the only one with gaily dancing wolves, though.

That was amazing. Nice gay wolves, Lemonz.

I love the horse's name tag with the ellipses, Dave. It's great when pictures have that much thought put into them.

I've heard that right-handed people have an easier time drawing profiles facing right, and English sentences read rightward. This might be partial explanation.

I also noted that the saguaro is always the iconic cactus, for all deserts everywhere, even though they really grow only in the Sonoran Desert. Yay famous saguaros!

Yeah--that 'rule of thumb' was wrong for me, too, but I figured I was just exceptional. Maybe now there are two exceptions... welcome to the Exception Club!
